Marlowe On Marriage
“The other part of me wanted to get out and stay out, but this was the part I never listened to. Because if I ever had I would have stayed in the town where I was born and worked in the hardware store and married the boss’s daughter and had five kids and read them the funny paper on Sunday morning and smacked their heads when they got out of line and squabbled with the wife about how much spending money they were to get and what programmes they could have on the radio or TV set. I might even have got rich – small-town rich, an eight-room house, two cars in the garage, chicken every Sunday, and the Reader’s Digest on the living-room table, the wife with cast-iron permanent and me with a brain like a sack of Portland cement. You take it, friend. I’ll take the big, sordid, dirty, crooked city.”

Marlowe's views on Life
Marlowe on Commercials
The commercials would have sickened a goat raised on barbed wire and broken beer bottles.
Marlowe on Page 3
I don't read them often, only when I run out of things to dislike.
I threw the paper into the corner and turned on the TV set. After the society page dog vomit even the wrestlers looked good.

Road To Ladakh
Manali to Leh
A journey through hell
Interspersed with uninspiring road signs
That still ring a bell
Dont be a Gama
In the land of the Lama
Drive with safety
And at home have safe tea
Wonder how people read this and still get by
As any man with any sense of humor shall surely die!!

Paper, Scissor , Stone they played
Along steps laid
To reach the Lord
They stuck a chord
With those at the top
Youth was offered on the hop

To reach the Lord
They stuck a chord
With those at the top
Youth was offered on the hop
